Terms of Use (updated 2025-05-01)
The trademark PayRelay is owned by the Norwegian company Red Rock Solutions AS,
Org. no. 994 588 982, Stemmane 12, 4636 Kristiansand (hereinafter PayRelay).
PayRelay lets the customer gain access to, and pay for the energy used at locations such as
camping sites and harbors on behalf of the facility owner through the webapp.
The following terms of use ("Terms of Use") apply to the relationship between PayRelay
and the customer ("Customer") who uses PayRelay ("the Service").
The Customer accepts the Terms of Use by using the Service.
General
- The Customer scans the QR code or enters the code to access the power
- Prices are always stated in the webapp
- Once the payment is completed, the power supply will start
- The power supply stops either when the Customer unplugs, or when the time is up

All complaints should be directed to the facility owner. PayRelay is not responsible for
products and services provided by the facility owner
Payment

PayRelay is entitled at all times to charge the Customer's payment card for services
purchased within the system at the current prices

When paying for Services, card information will be processed by the payment operator
'Stripe', which is a secure electronic payment provider

If the payment fails, PayRelay has the right to charge your registered payment card for all
outstanding amounts you are responsible for

Any financial claims against you that cannot be deducted from your registered payment card
or paid will result in the issuance of a fee-free invoice with a 14-day payment term, which
the Customer is obligated to pay

In the event of late payment of the issued invoice, PayRelay reserves the right to charge
interest on late payments and, if applicable, a collection fee for the re-issued invoice
with a 14-day payment term, in accordance with the Act on Delayed Interest
(LOV-1976-12-17-100)

Customer's Obligations

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the power is turned on and the service is
completed correctly

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle meets the necessary
requirements to receive power

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the registered payment card is valid and
has sufficient funds

It is the Customer's responsibility to pay all outstanding payment claims for using the
service

It is the Customer's responsibility to regularly review the Terms of Use and the Privacy
Policy

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that all equipment connected is legal and does
not draw more power than the outlet is set up for.
Updates

PayRelay reserves the right to replace or modify these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy at
any time

By using the Service, the Customer agrees to the currently applicable Terms of Use and
Privacy Policy
Disclaimer
PayRelay is not responsible if:
- The phone is stolen or misused by another person

The Service does not work due to network failures or if the mobile operator makes the
Service unusable
- The Customer does not receive power after the payment has been completed
- There is a power outage and a new payment is required to receive power
- Damage or loss occurs to the Customer's or facility owner's equipment
- The power output is reduced due to capacity or other reasons
Disputes
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be sought to be resolved amicably
in the event of a conflict between PayRelay and the Customer. If an agreement cannot be
reached, the case shall be brought before Agder Tingrett (Agder District Court).
Privacy Policy
The personal information collected is used for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
PayRelay processes the following personal information:
- Country of issuance of the payment card
- Last 4 digits of the payment card
- Email address
- Name
- Transaction history including product, location, and time
PayRelay does not collect any other card information. The card data is encrypted and processed
by the payment service provider Stripe. Neither the facility owner, PayRelay, nor Stripe can
see the card information. Stripe's payment solution is used by companies such as Amazon and

Why PayRelay collects personal information
PayRelay collects personal information in order to operate its services and provide the best
offerings to our customers, suppliers, and partners. The information is used, among other
things, for:
- Enabling the use of the application
- Contacting users in case of any errors or suspected errors
- Communication with users
- Providing customer support
- Further development of products and services
How the information is collected
The information is collected through:
- Submission of emails, contact forms, etc.
- The use of the webapp
- Registration of payment cards in Stripe
How the information is stored and deleted
The information is stored for as long as necessary based on the purpose of the storage. This
information is stored, processed, and deleted in accordance with applicable laws. The
information is deleted by contacting us via email unless it is legally required to retain the
information for a certain period (e.g., legal claims, accounting regulations, etc.).
Disclosure of information to third parties
We share necessary information with partners to the extent necessary to carry out our service
offerings and associated services.
Beyond this, PayRelay does not sell or share personal information with external third parties
unless required by Norwegian law.
Rights
You have the right at any time to request access to the information we process about you and
how it is processed. You can also request changes and deletion of this information.

From time to time, we may need to update this privacy policy to provide you with accurate
information on how we process personal data. By continuing to use PayRelay's services, you
agree to the updated privacy policy.
